I am Jessica Word, the CEO of the award-winning Word & Brown Agency, passionately committed to empowering my community. I believe in the transformative power of community, as seen through my leadership roles on the California Chamber of Commerce Board and my work with the Center for Leadership at CSUF. My dedication to mentorship shines through my involvement with initiatives like the CSUF Titan Women’s Collective, earning me the Excellence in Leadership Development award from CSUF’s College of Business and Economics.

In 2019, I proudly participated in the “Connected Women of Influence” event. Outside of my professional life, I am grounded by the steadfast support of my family. My numerous accolades, including recognition from the Orange County Business Journal and the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, underscore my relentless pursuit of excellence.

With a Business Administration degree from CSUF and credentials as a Registered Health Underwriter, my foundation is strong. However, it’s my people-first approach, innovative spirit, and genuine commitment to fostering growth in others that truly define me. As a 2023 Monaco 40 under 40 honoree, I exemplify resilience and transformational leadership. In October 2023, I was knighted as a Dame under the Order of Danilo I of Montenegro.

Additionally, on May 29, 2024, I was appointed as a Dame of the Order of Merit of the Portuguese Royal House and awarded the Red Cross Silver Medal for my impactful work.
